Hello, I am Sneha, and I am a child of two different countries – India, where I was born, and Belgium, where I discovered myself (it’s also my father and god-motherland, so it holds a special place in my soul). I carry and wear both cultures with pride. I lead the non-profit advisory (still looking for a humble name for this) team at an incredibly cool intermediary organization called Dasra.

I did not find this career, but this work found me (although, having grown up in a household where my parents were always trying to help someone get out of trouble, I shouldn’t have been surprised). On a more serious note, I ran out of medical school and stumbled into earning my Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, wanted to explore my fatherland, and ended up earning a Master’s Degree in International Business and an MBA in Finance from the Brussels Business School! After feeling like I needed to pause learning for a while, I ended up at an Indian biopharmaceutical company in their Biotech acquisitions team (developing strategic pathways between the biologics team and the business teams), and thus began a path of working with ‘change management’ and ‘building meaningful relationships’ that led me to doing what I do today!

It’s actually strange that through the multiple hats and roles I have worn in my career (from a business lead to a non-profit leader to a philanthropic advisor to my current role), I continue to enjoy working through the complexity of human relationships to discover ‘hidden gems’ and unifying forces between individuals, organizations, and cultures!

I see my work as weaving the invisible and (hopefully) lasting thread between strategy, relationships, and impact to help serve the most marginalized populations in a way that gives power back to communities! The joy of seeing relationships build and people finding the power to solve for themselves is what keeps me going.
