I am an agile network weaver and community builder with over a decade of experience designing and leading high-impact social development initiatives across Africa. As an Independent Consultant and Director of GrantsHub Services—a fiscal hosting, consulting, and incubation firm—I integrate people, resources, and communities to deliver transformative, sustainable solutions aligned with shared values.
With an academic background in Law and Strategic Project Management, I have worked across diverse sectors, including private industry, legal practice, human rights advocacy (National Commission on Human Rights), and international development (KCDF and Oxfam). My expertise spans public finance management, civic space, women’s economic empowerment, and leadership. I specialize in systems practice coaching, research, and developing financial sustainability frameworks, resource mobilization strategies, and inclusive urban planning models. I excel in facilitating capacity-building workshops, organizing communities, and fostering collaborations that empower civil society and underserved populations.
Notable achievements include mobilizing over $100 million for critical areas such as tax justice, gender-responsive budgeting, care work, research innovation, and inequality. My advocacy and research have influenced public finance management policies in Kenya, raising awareness on tax laws, promoting gender-responsive budgeting, supporting debt coalitions, and engaging international financial institutions to address debt issues.
A career highlight is my contribution to Kenya’s transformative Constitution of 2010 as part of the Committee of Experts, and my technical role in crafting the Public Benefits Organizations Act, which governs Kenya’s civil society sector. Additionally, I co-founded a Waldorf-inspired school and organized a community festival hosting over 1,000 participants, reflecting my ability to lead creative, transformative initiatives.
As a board member of Kileleshwa Ward Neighborhood Association (KIWANA), CREAW (a women’s rights organization), Victims of Violence Support Africa, and InVhestia (a financial services firm), I bring a strategic perspective rooted in governance, legal acumen, and community-driven solutions.
Passionate about social justice, gender equality, and sustainable development, I am committed to advancing African communities’ ability to shape their own development agendas. My work seeks to create impactful, people-centered programs that address inequalities and drive meaningful socio-economic change.
